Shake Things Up with Veggies and Fruits!

Smoothies and Shakes

Add 1 scoop ADEG to a smoothie for breakfast. Mix with 2 cups of water, 1 cup of frozen berries, 1 cup of fresh spinach, and a generous scoop of greens powder. Blend well and enjoy!

Add 1 scoop of ADEG in a blender with 1 cup of fat free yogurt, a small banana, optional 1/2 cup of milk and a scoop of whey protein or chia seeds. The product does already have flax seed powder in it.

Add 1 scoop of ADEG with Go-Ruby-Go with your favorite diet fruit juice, low fat yogurt and frozen fruit like peaches, blueberries, and mango to the blender to make smoothies.

* Tips for making quick and yummy shakes with Fruit

  • Sliced bananas and freeze for quick use.
  • Use seasonal fruits by dicing in placing in the freezer for use later. This is great for berries & peaches.

Warm & Cold Beverages

Grind a coffee-scoop of chia seeds in a coffee grinder. Then mix in ADEG and shake it together with water (I like the blender bottle). If you allow the chia seeds to soak for a few minutes, the mix does soften.

Add 1 scoop of ADEG to Sweet Tea. To lighten things up, try adding something with bubbles like Sprite, 7Up, or sparkling water.

Add 1 scoop of ADEG to cranberry juice and a quick stir. Done!

Add 1 scoop of ADEG to your cold or warm green tea (not hot drinks) for an extra flavor boost.

Looking for an extra punch? Try 1 scoop of ADEG mixed with V8 (low sodium). The tomato with ADEG flavor really complement each other. Add pepper, a few drops of Tabasco/Worcestershire and pinch of celery seed to spice things up! Think Bloody Mary, but you will feel better all day!

NOTE : IVL suggest not taking with acidic juice such as orange juice or lemonade, since the Energy Greens will start to attack the acid in the juice before the product can get into your body and start working. Also, it's not advisable to use in hot drinks since it may lose some of it's nutrientional value.

Zucchini Cheese Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 onion, rough chop
  • 2 lbs zucchini, rough chop (if substituting broccoli or cauliflower use 4 cups)
  • 2 cups chicken stock (i prefer "better than bouillon")
  • salt and pepper
  • small handful of fresh basil
  • 2 scoops of All Day Energy Greens
  • 1 wedge of Laughing Cow creamed Swiss cheese
  1. Put the zucchini and onion in a medium saucepan and add chicken stock. (The stock will not cover the vegetables.) .
  2. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer until vegetables are tender, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, add cheese and puree with immersion blender.
  4. Salt and pepper, to taste.

NOTE: Try plain, herbed or garlic cream cheese for variations of this tasty soup.
